I am so excited to announce that our edition of Macaroni KID New Iberia Abbeville Breaux Bridge won TWO awards from our parent company, Macaroni KID by CertifiKID for 2024-2025!
Each year the Certificate of Excellence Awards opens for nominations to recognize the publishers around the country for their extraordinary creativity, talents, and dedication to their communities. Our edition won both the Calendar Excellence Category and Newsletter Excellence Category this year! I want to thank all our families, subscribers, clients, followers and all those who share our content and resources with the communities that we cover. I am looking forward to continuing the commitment to our edition and as well as being a trusted resource in our community.

1. Cirque DuLuxe - KOC Kampground - New Iberia
Friday, June 6, 2025, 4:30 pm
The circus is coming to town this weekend at the KOC Kampground in New Iberia. With several shows starting Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, Cirque DuLuxe offers a must see show for the entire family. Ticket prices vary. Sold online or at the door. Children 3 and under are free.
2. 2025 Youth Fishing Tournament - Spanish Lake Bait Shop - New Iberia
Saturday, June 7, 2025, 6:00 am - 11:00am
It's free fishing weekend in Louisiana and the Spanish Lake Bait Shop is holding a Youth Fishing Tournament. There are three age categories to compete. The event is open to youth and their families. $20.00 per team.
3. Delcambre Seafood and Farmer's Market at Bayou Carlin Cove - Delcambre
Saturday, June 7, 2025, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
It's the Father's Day Market at the Delcambre Seafood and Farmer's Market this weekend. Get a gift for dad, shop with local vendors, enjoy live music and kid's can craft a fun gift for that special guy. Free.
4. Glow Dance Party at Chick-fil-A - New Iberia
Saturday, June 7, 2025, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The Glow Dance Party is a fun way to teach the kids about giving back and supporting those less fortunate in our community. Entry fee to the event will be 2 toiletry items OR a $5 donation. Everything collected will be donated to Gifting Grace Project who helps over 1,500 homeless students in Acadiana.
5. Teen Party at Splatter World - New Iberia
Saturday, June 7, 2025, 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Splatter World is hosting a Teen Party for kids ages 14 to 18 this Saturday. $10.00 per child at the door. Make sure the kiddos are dressed for messy fun to enjoy Teen Night.
