If you are looking for a fun, inexpensive event to take the kids to this weekend, head to Abbeville for The 2nd Annual Community Wellness Volleyball Jamboree at A.A. Comeaux Park. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the teams competing for pure fun while supporting families in Vermilion Parish. It's only $5.00 per person to enter the event and children ages 4 and under are free. There will be fun activities, food, and music as well for attendees to enjoy! And if you hear that ref whistle blowing, that's just me calling the games!

Community Wellness is back this September with the annual Volleyball Jamboree in Abbeville. It's a great opportunity for families, businesses, and other community organizations to come together for a great cause. There will be live music, food trucks, vendors, children's activities and much more! The fun begins at 9:30 Saturday morning. $5.00 per person to enter. Children ages 4 and under are free. 

2. Delcambre Seafood and Farmer's Market at Bayou Carlin Cove

The City of Franklin Recreation Department is inviting the kids to the Back to School Skate Bash at the Broussard Harris Recreation Center in Franklin. 4. IPAL Presents: The Little Mermaid - Downtown New Iberia
