1. 2025 Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival - Downtown New Iberia

Friday, September 26, 2025 through Sunday, September 27, 2025 

This year the festival is celebrating its 82nd year of production in Iberia Parish. Participate and enjoy events like the 5K run, Blessing of the Crops, a Coronation Ball, the Fais Do Do, a Street Fair, parades and much more. Times and ticket prices for events will vary. Entry to the grounds is free. 

2. Bayou Vista Indoor Craft Market & Family Fun Day - Morgan City

Plan for a day of shopping at the monthly Bayou Vista Community Center Indoor Craft Market in Morgan City. The September Indoor Market will feature fun for the kids along with food and arts and craft vendors. Kids will also enjoy a round of miniature golf at Noah's Arc or a dash through the Spray Park (weather permitting.) Free. 

3. Parks Family Fest at Cecile Poche Park - St. Martin Parish

4. Family Fun Day at the Vermilion Venue Farmer's and Artisan's Market - Abbeville

This Sunday is Family Fun Day and the market will have fun jumps for the kids and the chance to see police cars and fire trucks up close and personal. Shop for fresh foods, produce, baked goods, and other items from local vendors and artisans. Free. 

5. Celebrate International Coffee Day at Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site - St. Martinville

Celebrate with a tour International Coffee Day this week at Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site in St. Martinville. Coffee plays a huge role in the Creole and Acadian culture, as well as many others. Come visit and share your coffee stories! While your there, stay for the French Table that happens every Wednesday! Entry price varies.
