5 Fun Things to Do With Kids in Iberia Parish This Week

What's Up for Mac Kid New Iberia? There's lots of fun happening around town this week!

Looking for a few things to do this week? Every Saturday morning, the Macaroni Kid New Iberia newsletter goes out to families in our area with some recommendations for events over the upcoming week. 

Check out the top five fun things to do with your kids in around town this week: 


1. Gueydan Summer Festival 

Held on City Hall grounds, this event will run from 9am to 5pm filled with live music, children's activities, food and craft vendors. Saturday 7/24/21


2. Bayou BBQ Bash Maker's Market

Head on over to Morgan City for this family fun event. Held in the downtown area of the 700 block of Front street, you can shop with local food vendors, find one of a kind handmade crafts, purchase items from local stores. Don't forget about the live music and BBQ!  Saturday 7/24/21


3. Daniel and Anna's Orchard - Fig Picking  

Pick some figs with the kids and stock up for the holiday season or make a yummy dessert to share!  Open during the week from 8am to 5pm, but must call ahead to verify picking availability. Monday 7/26/21 


4. Summer Flicks at The Grand New Iberia 

Featuring the movie Dolittle this week, you and the kids can catch the 10AM showing for a special price. Tuesday and Wednesday, 7/27/21 and 7/28/21


5. See You Later Summer Game Night (Teen/Tween)

Got a teen/tween asking "Mom, what can I do?" Sign them up for this event at the Abbeville library. Wednesday 7/28/21
