Welcome to Macaroni KID New Iberia!
In May 2021, I officially became the Publisher for Macaroni KID New Iberia and began my journey working with the largest family-focused digital media and advertising company in the country. When I joined this amazing group of folks, it was one of the quirkiest and weirdest times that I have lived through thus far.
As we slowly began to come out of the isolation of 2020 and the pandemic that faced our world, many families were looking forward to being together again to celebrate at local events, festivals, and other community gatherings. It was a slow start but we were able to navigate our way through moving from solely virtual events and back into in-person happenings in New Iberia, Morgan City, Franklin, Breaux Bridge, and St. Martinville.
What is Macaroni KID New Iberia?
I get asked this question, a lot!
As I began to mingle with families and business owners at events, I was often asked, "What exactly is Macaroni KID New Iberia?" And simply put, Macaroni KID New Iberia is a hyper-local, online resource for families in New Iberia searching for low-cost family outings, events, or other resources that can help parents better support their children.
Many families throughout the Acadiana area are already connected to the other area publishers for Macaroni KID in Lafayette and Acadia-St. Landry, yet there are still so many who are not quite sure who we are or what we do. Let me answer that question for you here!
Macaroni KID New Iberia offers the latest news on local activities and family-fun events, while also supporting our local businesses and organizations. We are a community partner in the areas we publish in and are dedicated to keeping followers updated with current events, news, and other opportunities that your family may benefit from. We participate in local community events and enjoy facilitating activities for local children that allow them to have a creative outlet and have fun.
As the Publisher and Editor for Macaroni KID New Iberia, my goal is to be the go-to resources for all families in New Iberia, Abbeville, Franklin, Morgan City, Breaux Bridge, and St. Martinville.
Our website features information like:
- Low-cost or FREE family-friendly events
- Information on resources and other types of community support
- Parenting tips and how-to insights from our wide community of Macaroni KID Publishers nationwide
- Collaborations with local organizations and area non-profits that offer support for local families
- Ideas for at-home fun and learning with your children, like crafts and holidays celebrations
- Insights on to discuss topics like diversity awareness and highlight ways to bring our community together
- Easy recipes to help busy families navigate their weekly schedules
- Community sponsorships with local business partners and other organizations to help promote shopping local
Our main focus is to provide the insight, resources, and information for all families in Iberia, Vermilion, St. Martin, and St. Mary parishes.

About the Publisher
As a mother of four, I was always on the lookout for family fun events, discounts, and deals that allowed me to enjoy time with all of my children who were of varying ages at the time. Finding Macaroni KID years ago allowed us to participate in activities that we could all enjoy. I am so honored to now be a part of that team that is here to assist our local families in doing the same.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana I made my way to the Acadiana area over 13 years ago and fell in love. I'm enamored with the New Iberia area and still wonder in the charm of this town as I discover new things about the area all the time.
This community pulls together in tough times and enjoys celebrating all of the local cultures and heritages that make us who we are. It truly is a wonderful community to be a part of.

About Macaroni KID
Macaroni KID New Iberia is part of a national organization that includes local publishers who provide content for more than 3,000,000 families in 4,000+ communities across the United States and Canada.
In 2020, Macaroni KID merged forces with CertifiKID, a nationally recognized website that offers discounts on kids' activities and family experiences.
