We've rebranded our name to include more of the amazing cities that our area covers! I am so excited to have the opportunity to highlight the wonderful businesses, organizations, and other groups in and around New Iberia, Abbeville, Breaux Bridge, St. Martinville, Franklin, and Morgan City that offer family-fun events and activities, helpful resources for parents, and other kid-friendly and family services in our communities.
What is Macaroni KID?
I get asked this question, a lot!
In May 2021, I officially became the Owner, Publisher, and Editor for Macaroni KID New Iberia. This was the beginning of my journey working with the largest family-focused digital media and advertising company in the country. When I joined this amazing group of folks, it was one of the quirkiest and weirdest times that I have lived through thus far.
As we slowly began to come out of the isolation of 2020 and the pandemic that faced our world, many families were looking forward to being together again to celebrate at local events, festivals, and other community gatherings. It was a slow start but we were able to navigate our way through moving from solely virtual events and back into in-person happenings in New Iberia, Morgan City, Franklin, Breaux Bridge, and St. Martinville.
I am often asked, "What exactly is Macaroni KID?" And simply put, Macaroni KID New Iberia Abbeville Breaux Bridge is a hyper-local, online resource for families searching for free or low-cost family events, activities, and other resources that help local parents support their children.
Macaroni KID offers the latest news on local activities and family-fun events with our extensive event calendar while also supporting our local businesses and organizations. We are a community partner in the areas we publish for and are dedicated to keeping followers updated with current events, resources, and other information that our families may benefit from. We participate in local community events and enjoy facilitating activities for children that allow them to enjoy a creative outlet and have fun.
As the Publisher and Editor for Macaroni KID New Iberia Abbeville Breaux Bridge, my goal is to be the go-to resource for all families in New Iberia, Abbeville, Breaux Bridge, Franklin, Morgan City, St. Martinville and the smaller surrounding communities.

Our main focus is to provide the insight, resources, and information for all families in Iberia, Vermilion, St. Martin, and St. Mary parishes.

About the Publisher
As a mother of four, I was always on the lookout for family fun events, discounts, and deals that allowed me to enjoy time with all of my children who were of varying ages at the time. Finding Macaroni KID years ago allowed us to participate in activities that we could all enjoy. I am so honored to now be a part of that team that is here to assist our local families in doing the same.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana I made my way to the Acadiana area over 15 years ago and fell in love. I'm love the New Iberia area and still wonder in the charm of this town as I discover new things about the area all the time. This community pulls together in tough times and enjoys celebrating all of the local cultures and heritages that make us who we are. It truly is a wonderful community to be a part of.
