The Iberia Veterans Association will be having their Veterans Day tribute and celebration. The Iberia Jazz Band will begin performing at 5:00 pm with the ceremony taking place at 6:00 pm. The event will take place at the Steamboat Pavilion at Bouligny Plaza in downtown New Iberia.

3rd Annual Veteran Heritage Festival - Abbeville

Celebrate this Veterans Day at the Louisiana Military Museum in Abbeville, LA. here will be hands on activities, living history demos, and other special programing for visitors of all ages during the two day celebration. Admission is free, however for groups of 10 or more (field trips, scout troops, veteran organizations, large families, etc.) please book your visit in advance.

Veterans Day Parade - Downtown Lafayette
The inaugural Veterans Parade will take place on Veterans Day, November 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. The parade route will cover the heart of Lafayette, passing down Jefferson Street, Johnston Street, and Garfield Street and ending at Parc International with a jamboree.
Dedication to the Veterans - Memorial at the Rail - Scott
Veteran's Memorial is being held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 9:00 am. A free shuttle is available from Scott City Hall.
Come out and show your support for our veterans this Veterans Day with La Pizzeria Lafayette. This veteran-owned business will be donating a portion of its sales on November 11, 2023 to the Acadian Veterans Alliance, an incredible organization dedicated to supporting veterans in our local community.

Academy offers a discount to active military service members, veterans and first responders. It’s our way of showing thanks and appreciation for all you do to protect our nation and serve in our local communities. Take 10% off your entire purchase online or in-store.
Amazon offers a 20% discount on select items for Veterans Day, no military ID required.
Office Depot and Office Max - November 11, 2023
Veterans, active duty and retired military personnel, reservists, and their dependents receive 25% off qualifying regular and sale-priced purchases in stores nationwide November 11 through 13. Shoppers must present a valid military ID, military dependent ID or form of veteran ID at the time of purchase.
Target is offering a 10% military discount from October 29 through November 11 to all active-duty military personnel, veterans and their families. The discount can be used on two separate transactions and applies to all in-basket items, online and in-store.
Active and former military personnel, veterans, and their families receive 30% off qualifying in-store purchases from November 10 through 12. Valid military ID is required.
From November 10 through 13, veterans, active-duty military and their families receive 20% off regular price eligible store items at any Walgreens or Duane Reade drugstore nationwide.
There are also many discounts and travel deals available to our veterans this weekend. All National Park Service sites that normally charge an entrance fee will offer free admission on Veterans Day.
