I love the fact that we have officially sprung forward, but I am still playing catch up it seems this week! I feel like I am an hour behind everything... pun intended!
However, I know the time change last week brings with it one of my FAVORITE times of the year to live in Louisiana! Spring brings some of the best festivals and events that not only tourists flock to but locals alike. Just this week, The Shadows on The Teche is hosting the Plein Air Competition in and around New Iberia. The events started last weekend but it's not to late to join in on the fun! They are holding a Paint Out competition on Friday, March 18th for all ages! This is your chance to paint the town New Iberia!
We are in the process of creating our Spring Festival Guide and as our most beloved readers, you are getting a sneak peak in the newsletter today. It will be released this weekend on the website, but make sure to check back often as we will continue to add events throughout the spring. If there are any festivals you think we need to be in the know about, let us know! We want our guide will focus on the spring time events in Iberia, Vermilion Parish, St. Martin and St. Mary parishes, keeping all the fun just a drive away for you! But of course we will have to list some of our other favorite Louisiana events happening over the next couple months as well!
