Can you believe we are almost done with March? I feel like we just celebrated Mardi Gras last week! Now we are well on our way into the second quarter of 2022!
We were definitely spared this week from some of the crazy storms that blew in on Tuesday afternoon. However, folks to the east of us in the New Orleans area were not so lucky. I know that school closings and other closings can be a pain and alter our routines and plans, but I am thankful that we did not have any major damage from those storms. Springtime in Louisiana is a like a roller coaster ride right into hurricane season!
In our weekly newsletter this week, we are recognizing and celebrating March and Disability Awareness Month by sitting down with a former colleague and friend and talking candidly about what it's like to raise a child with a disability.
