I am ready for some live music and carnival fun! Get ready New Iberia because El Festival Español de Nueva Iberia is getting under way. There are so many things happening this month in and around New Iberia, and we have been updating the calendar daily so please make sure to keep coming back to find the events for your family planning adventures this April!
Our Easter Guide was released this week, and it has been updated several times since it was published. You can definitely find an event or two to bring the kids to and join in on the Easter fun in New Iberia and our surrounding areas.
Also, our Spring Festival Guide has been updated as well! Check out all the upcoming festivals, fairs and fun events that are happening in our area in Iberia Parish, St. Martin Parish, Vermilion Parish and St. Mary Parish happening this spring. We also have a section for our favorites happening outside of the area. All of these are just a short drive away but offer more of the Louisiana spirit and culture that we are all familiar with.

1. Berry Sweet City - Wide Easter Egg Hunt
April 7th, 8th and 9th in New Iberia
Get ready to collect some candy, solve some riddles and take an adventure around the city of New Iberia! Thanks to The Frosted Apron and The Iberia Parish Library for sponsoring this Easter fun event!
2. El Festival Español de Nueva Iberia
April 8th through 10th in New Iberia
The festival will feature a boat parade, car show, music, dancing and arts and crafts, and carnival rides. This is truly an event for the entire family and all of Iberia Parish to celebrate our Spanish heritage.
3. Spring Market - Morgan City
Saturday, April 9th
Over 50 different vendors will be participating in this event. Just in time to get some shopping done for your Easter baskets!
4. Annual Vermilion Parish Car Giveaway and Cook Off
Saturday, April 9th, Maurice
Mendoza Ford is holding a chili cook-off and family fun event. Live music, train rides, Easter Egg hunt and free pics with the Easter bunny!
5. Spring Fling Carnival in Berwick
Sunday, April 10th
The 2nd Annual Spring Fling is happening on the Berwick Riverfront for the next two weekends in April. Live music, carnival rides, games and more.
