April is wrapping in a few days as we move into the month of May! Normally, May is always filled with excitement as we get ready for the end of the school year, graduations, and lots of summer planning. For me, May is going to be a milestone as my big 5-0 is happening this month, and I could not be more excited! Being able to celebrate fifty years of living, all those experiences, both good and bad, have molded me into to the person I am today. I am ready to celebrate all month long!
We are updating our calendar for all the May events we have coming up so be sure to come back and check frequently. Are you heading out to Festival International this week? This is one of my favorite events in the Acadiana area! I love the music from different countries, the overwhelming food selection, and the crafts and vendors that line the streets of downtown Lafayette! We have the perfect snack for the kids to make too that celebrates all things music! Check out these microphone cupcakes you can do with the kids.
For all the moms out there looking to connect with other moms this May, check out the event sponsored by March of Dimes happening Thursday, May 5th.
