What a week it has been! This rain has been a drag, cancelling some of our fun summer plans, but it sure makes these hot August days much cooler! I literally took a shower three times in one day thanks to all these downpours! And speaking of rainy days... what do you do when you are stuck inside? One of my favorite things to do on a rainy day on the weekend is to cook a huge batch pancakes. It can be a bit of a mess to clean up so now that I have seen this easy recipe for 2 Ingredient Drop Donut Holes, I think we may have a new rainy day favorite.
We have been getting ready to go back to school as the summer break starts to come to an end. I know it is about to get hectic as we head back to managing all the school activities, homework, and recreational sports and clubs on top of oh.. yeah life! This weekend I will be investigating with Louisiana Spirits at The Centerville Steamboat Inn. I am super excited for this one! The team has been there before and has information prepared from a previous visit that you can read all about here.
