We had a blast last weekend with all the cool kids in New Iberia at the Chic-fil-A New Iberia trunk-or-treat event! We enjoyed chatting with all the parents and are so happy to welcome some new members to our Macaroni KID New Iberia community. We would love it if you gave us a follow on TikTok! Also, the deadline is approaching for the costume contest that Chick-fil-A New Iberia is holding. Go to their Facebook page and vote on your favorites! All of these kids were absolutely adorable!
There are so many events happening this weekend for all families to choose from! We have a ton of events listed on our calendar, but we ask you to please double check with the original post or creator of the events before heading out. Several events planned for Friday have been cancelled or rescheduled due to the threat of some nasty weather moving our way.
So are you ready for Halloween weekend? We plan on being on Main Street for the festivities taking place on Saturday. From Terror on the Teche to the Halloween parade and free concert happening, Main Street in New Iberia will be jammed packed this Saturday. While candy and fun are on the minds of our children, as parents we are focused on safety for this upcoming busy Halloween weekend. Come out and enjoy the Halloween festivities at the Parks Trunk or Treat at Cecil Poche Memorial Park. Free food for the kids will be provided by Laura's 2 NEXT Generation and there will plenty of entertainment and fun for the kids to enjoy! Fun jumps, teddy bear making and more!
4. Howl-O-Ween Pet Adoption & Supply Drive Event, Breaux Bridge

Enjoy the afternoon supporting the St. Martin Parish Animal Shelter at this Pet Adoption and Supply Drive event. Donations of cleaning supplies and pet food are being collected for the shelter and pet adoptions available on site. Halloween treats will be available, kids can participate in the Trunk-or-Treat from 12pm to 2pm and take Halloween/Fall pictures during the event. The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office will also be conducting free car seat safety checks for families.
5. Fall Fest - A Celebration of Saints, New Iberia

St. Peter's Catholic Church is holding their annual Fall Fest on the grounds of the church in New Iberia. There will be live music from Fifth Edition, a trunk-or-treat for the kids, face painting, games and more!
