Christmas weekend is here! Whether that means big parties with a lot of friends or quiet gatherings with loved ones, it is definitely the time of year to appreciate all the love you have around you.
This is going to be a cold weekend, colder than many of us are used to so please take the extra precautions now to make sure pets, plants and pipes are prepared. The next few days we will face the brunt of a bitter cold snap in New Iberia and the surrounding areas. And, be sure to check with the local authorities and media outlets for the updates on road and business closures if you have some last minute shopping to do. Our recommendations for this week are to enjoy your holiday this year! Take a drive with the family to see the lights, make plenty of gumbo and hot chocolate to keep warm, and have a good laugh with family and friends. New Iberia Decorated has updated their contest with all the winners, so be sure catch the displays for all the entries and the winners over the holiday break.
