Our friends at Louisiana Spirits in conjunction with The City of New Iberia will be hosting the first ever para-con in New Iberia next year!
Whether you want to be an attendee, a business sponsor, or a vendor at this first ever event for Iberia Parish, we have all the details for you here. This event is guaranteed to bring in folks from out of town to shop, eat, and take in all our wonderful city has to offer!

The Cajun Country Para-Con is coming to New Iberia on March 23, 2024 at The Sliman Theater, formerly known as The Evangeline Theater, and the Bayou Teche Museum. You will get to meet Travel Channel, You Tube, and Netflix paranormal celebs and investigators, shop and mingle with local arts & crafts vendors, local authors, get some grub from local food trucks, and of course talk all things paranormal!
The group is striving to make this an annual event for New Iberia and working with several local organizations and businesses to make this event huge for Iberia Parish. Cajun Country Para-con will take place from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in beautiful downtown New Iberia at both the Bayou Teche Museum and The Sliman Theater.

There are a limited amount of VIP passes available for the event. VIP passes allow for early entry, a ghost hunting event later that night, and a special Q & A with a few of the paranormal celebs from the event. Five slots have been releases as of September 2023 for VIP passes.
There will be three levels of sponsorship for local businesses and organizations to get involved including a few top sponsor perks. The group is seeking sponsors in each category to help make this event a huge success for Iberia Parish. Louisiana Spirits is looking for local vendors who would like to participate in the event selling their merch and goodies to attendees. Local vendors can purchase a vendor spot to sell their merch for only $25.00! There are a still a few spots open for the vendor show as of mid-November 2023. If you would like to be a part of this first ever conference in New Iberia, be sure to get your name on the list by emailing Marci Lee at mlee@laspirits.com.
There will be also local food trucks selling dishes as well throughout the day. If you are a food truck vendor and interested in participating spots are limited, so be sure to contact Marci asap! A percentage of the all the proceeds from the event will go to Angel Paws Adoption Center to support the pets of Iberia Parish.
