We are happy to announce the upcoming Fall Fest at the Morgan City Petting Zoo happening this November! Traditionally, this event is held in October however this year the event has been moved to November 11, 2023 so families can enjoy the cooler Louisiana temperatures while participating in the many activities that will be offered.
Macaroni KID New Iberia has partnered with the Morgan City Petting Zoo to not only get the word out about the upcoming Fall Fest but to our readers know about all of the other wonderful opportunities that await for you at the zoo!

The 9th Annual Fall Fest is ready to offer visiting families plenty of fun visiting with the all the animals, children's games and activities during the event, contests and more. And new to the festival this year will be a featured treat: a constructed maze will be created on the big pasture next to the zoo for for families to adventure through as they leave the event. This is a perfect addition for this year's Fall Fest!

The Morgan City Petting Zoo is an entertaining attraction that I personally think is one of the hidden gems in St. Mary Parish. Less than an hour away from New Iberia, you can make plans to spend a day with the animals of the zoo for quality time with the kids.
The zoo is open both during the spring, summer, fall, and winter seasons for visitors to enjoy. Their schedule is always posted to their Facebook page ahead of time, as well as our Macaroni KID New Iberia event calendar for parents looking to plan a weekend visit.

Interested in hosting a private event? The zoo is open during the weekdays and can host field trips with local schools, homeschool clubs, or other organizations who are wanting to plan an enjoyable event.
The Morgan City Petting Zoo also host other seasonal events during the year like the Easter Egg Hunt in the spring or the Fall Fest with Accommodations by appointment only to allow children with special needs to enjoy a day of fun visiting with all the animals.
