Of course, the afternoon showers have helped cool things off a bit and they are helping the fall-like weather get to us in New Iberia a little more as each day passes. This week we have a fun craft that you can do to add to your fall fun or to add to your Halloween costume. Find out how to kick it in color and make your own tie-dye shoes. I think this is one I will try with my teens!

As a homeschooling family, we are always on the watch for upcoming classes or events that will help us learn. Now that my teens are in high school, college is getting closer and closer than ever before. If you have or know of any high school junior or senior who is interested in a science major, then make sure to get the information on Science Day 2023 happening at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette this October. Registration is now open and available on a first-come, first-served served.
