All children deserve to experience the magic of opening presents on Christmas morning. However for some families, it can be a stretch to figure out how to navigate daily expenses on top of the additional cost of holiday shopping.
Thanks to The Marine Corps Reserve and community partners such as Kingdom of God Church our local Toys for Tots program offers the parents of children in Iberia Parish and the surrounding parishes the chance to get a helping hand this holiday season.

Toys for Tots
Applications are being accepted from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sundays beginning on 11/5/23 at the St. Julia Empowerment Center at 405 Henkle Street in Jeanerette. The office will be open during these same hours each Sunday in November to assist families with applying to the program. The program is meant to assist parents who have children ages 12 and under. This outreach program is being sponsored by Kingdom of God Church.
You must be sure to complete the entire application packet and make sure to have the following:
- You must bring a copy of your government ID or driver's license
- You must bring proof of government assistance (food stamps, Medicaid, SSI, etc.)
- List 2 valid contact numbers for and a valid email address
- Must have the last 4 digits of social security numbers for each child on the application
If you do not have transportation, you can also apply via Zoom appointment during this time. For more information and any questions on this program contact Dr. A.
