Attention all 4H students in 4th-6th grade in Iberia Parish

Mikayla Barletto, President of the Iberia Parish Junior Leaders Club, would like to invite these students to dance the night away at the annual Winter Wonderland Dance hosted by the Iberia 4-H Junior Leader Club in New Iberia this December!

4-H is an organization that is centralized around youth and focuses their classes and programs on teaching valuable assets such as leadership, civic engagement, and formal presentation skills. This organization gets the kids active and creative all at the same time! From hands-on activities to educational programs and talks, your child will always leave a 4-H meeting or gathering with a new, fun fact that they will be excited to share with you!

The Iberia Parish Junior Leaders Club is for students in grades 7th through 12th who are enrolled in the Iberia Parish 4-H program. There are many activities for students to enjoy like community service projects, volunteering at events with other organizations in Iberia Parish, and hosting events for youth in our community.

Being an active member of this club will also open up many opportunities for high schoolers to possibly be presented with scholarships and college recognition as they move on into the next phase of life. The Iberia Parish 4-H program and the Junior Leaders program is directly tied to Louisiana State University.

Our Iberia Parish 4-H Junior Leaders program is excited to be hosting our annual Winter Wonderland Dance this December. The dance is for students in 4th through 6th grade who are enrolled in 4-H program in Iberia Parish. However, 4-H members are encouraged to invite a non-member of 4-H to our event to see what our program is all about!
