This weekend the Louisiana State Parks is celebrating 90 years of service in our communities by offering free admission to any state park or historic site this weekend. Make plans to enjoy the day at one of the six parks in our area that offer an easy day trip for families in New Iberia. It's a great opportunity to get into nature, learn about the cultures and people who influenced our cultures, and create fun summer memories with the kids.
Whether it's ice cream or a smoothie, this summer heat is always pushing us to find ways to cool off. We have a great recipe this week for This Delicious Orange Creamsicle Smoothie Sunshine in a Glass. It's a great way to start a summer morning or offer a mid-afternoon treat for the kids. 3. IPAL Presents: Beauty and the Beast - New Iberia

IPAL is proud to present the summer youth musical of Beauty and the Beast this July in New Iberia. The cast is made up of local kids from the age of 10 to 19.
