Well, 2025 is flying by! We are days away from April and all the Easter fun happenings in New Iberia, Abbeville, Breaux Bridge, and Morgan City! 

We have our weekly list of recommendations for family fun events, but make sure to check with the original hosts as we do have some stormy weather predicted for Friday night into Saturday morning. But you know what they say... April showers bring May flowers!

1. Zerbini Family Circus - Kemper Williams Park - Patterson

The Zerbini Family Circus is back for 2025 making the rounds throughout the Acadiana area. Families are invited to enjoy a taste of big top, family-fun in Patterson, Abbeville, and New Iberia. Here are the dates for the Zerbini Family Circus happening in our area:

• Patterson, La - Thursday, March 27th and Friday, March 28th
• Abbeville, La - Saturday, March 29th and Sunday, March 30
• New Iberia, La - Monday, March 31st, Tuesday, April 1st, and Wednesday, April 2nd

2. Maltrait Spring Bazaar 2025 - Kaplan

Friday, March 28, 2025, 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm and Saturday, March 29, 2025, 10:00 am -10:00 pm

Support Catholic education at the 2025 Maltrait Spring Bazaar in Kaplan this March! This annual event is held on the school grounds at Maltrait Memorial Catholic School offering a plenty of family fun for all. The event is held over two days filled with a street fair style event with carnival rides, live music, games, sweet shop, bingo, a silent auction, and much more.

3. Early Childhood Education and Community Resource Fair - Abbeville

The Early Childhood Education and Community Resource Fair will take place in Abbeville this month. This event will give parents information on childcare services, childcare assistance programs, and employment opportunities. There will be entertainment for the kids including carnival games, a photo booth, face painting and a school bus tour.

4. Spring Shopping on Da Bayou - Bouligny Plaza - Downtown New Iberia

Get ready for Easter with local vendors on Main Street in beautiful downtown New Iberia at the annual Spring Shopping on Da Bayou. Enjoy shopping with local vendors, get pictures with the Easter Bunny, live music, and activities for the kids.

5. Sunset at the View on Front Street Dock - Morgan City

Every Wednesday in April the Front Street Dock in Morgan City is the place to be! Enjoy live music, $6 cocktails, and charcuterie cups & pasta bowls available for purchase. Chairs and tables will be provided as well.
