Alosia’s Open Arms, founded by Ms. Demond Roberts, serves children and families by offering free events and community projects in St. Martin Parish and the surrounding areas. Their focus is to create gatherings that not only offer fun for families but they help parents bond with their children, build friendships, and find a welcoming community to be a part of.

This local nonprofit is dedicated to creating free, family-friendly events that bring people together while offering real support to those who need it most. Some of the other events this group has hosted include, Dads and Donuts, Mom and Me Parties, and Community Lunches for the Homeless, ensuring that everyone in the neighborhood has access to a warm meal and friendly faces.

Alosia’s Open Arms proves that a little kindness goes a long way. Whether you're a parent looking for a fun event with your child, or someone who wants to support a good cause, this nonprofit is making a difference!

Ms. Roberts is asking the community, local businesses, and other groups to partner with them to make this a successful event for the children. This event will replace their usual Easter Basket Drive, which has traditionally provided donations to foster children in St. Martin Parish.

This year, they plan on taking it up a notch and inviting the whole community to get involved! Ms. Robert's is reaching out to local businesses, agencies, schools, and other organizations to help them make this event unforgettable and they need your support. They are offering a range of sponsorship opportunities and every little bit helps. Whether it’s a monetary donation, food and drinks, baskets, or pre-filled eggs, your generosity will ensure that the event is a success for all involved. See the ways your business and/or organization can get involved below!
