We are headed into summer 2025 as this week we wrap up the 2024-2025 school year for students in New Iberia, Abbeville, Breaux Bridge, and Morgan City. Over the next few weeks, we will be working hard behind the scenes to update our event calendar to make sure busy parents have the information they need for summer fun events happening over the next couple of months.

1. IPAL Presents: Always Patsy Cline - Downtown New Iberia

IPAL is proud to present the musical play Always Patsy Cline at The Essanee Theater in New Iberia this May. The play will be filled with humor, true emotion and include several of Patsy Cline's favorite. Several performances are scheduled. Check our event calendar for details.
2. The Little Red House Market - Downtown Breaux Bridge
Saturday, May 24, 2025. 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
The first market was such a hit in April, they are bringing it back again in May. This outdoor, pop-up market will feature handcrafted items and other specialties made by local artisans and crafters. The market in May will also be hosting a collection of donations for the local food pantry. All non-perishable food items are welcome. Free.
3. School's Out | Hello Summer - Free End of School Party - Patterson
Saturday, May 24, 2025, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Families in St. Mary Parish are invited to celebrate the end of the school year at Morey Park in Patterson. Enjoy tunes from a live DJ, food, and fun for the whole family. Free.
4. Battle of the Beef Cook-off & Brand the Barn - Abbeville
Saturday, May 24, 2025, 11:00 am - 11:00 pm
The Louisiana Cattle Festival is holding a Battle of the Beef & Jr. Beef Burger Cook-Off at The Red Barn in Abbeville. Enjoy a silent and live auction, live music, and dancing. Prizes for cookoff will be awarded as well. Ticket prices vary.
5. Tunes on the Teche - Memorial Day Celebration - Breaux Bridge
Monday, May 26, 2025, 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Enjoy live music by Parade Route Party Band and plenty of fun at this community event. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Free.
