Description

From Africa to America, Donald takes attendees through history with this collection of stories from African and African-American traditions. Attendees will laugh out loud as they meet a silly, selfish man with a tree on his head and hum along to Nat King Cole's "Straighten Up and Fly Right" during hilarious renditions of beloved stories.

Donald Lewis is a native New Orleanian who graduated from New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts. He is a professional actor and storyteller and an active member of The Alliance of Community Theaters. Donald is also on the board of directors for WRBH, the Reading Radio for the Blind, and is featured on WWOZ's Live Wire on Tuesdays.
