Join the community in celebrating Juneteenth at The Sliman Theater in New Iberia.  

The The Iberia African American Historical Society (IAAHS) and Shadows on the Teche is hosting a talk on the "Unfolding of Emancipation in Post-Civil War New Iberia" by IAAHS president and founder, Dr. Phebe Hayes, the Juneteenth Poetry Contest for students and other readings Shadows director John Warner Smith.
