Another one-of-kind festival is back for spooky, family-fun in Louisiana this October!
The Rougarou Fest is a free, family-friendly event that highlights and celebrates the culture of Louisiana with live music, activities and games, and plenty of Cajun food and spirit. The Rougarou Fest will take place over three days this October in Houma near the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center. From a howling contest to carnival rides and great eats, this festival has something for everyone.
Here are the times and dates for the event this year:
- Friday, October 18, 2024 from 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
- Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 10:00 am - 10:00 pm
- Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
This annual festival supports the non-profit, South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center, that works to bring awareness and education to the public about Louisiana’s disappearing coastal areas.
