Make plans to be in Franklin for the annual Christmas Under The Lampposts Decorated Golf Cart Parade & Christmas on the Bayou Lighting Ceremony this December. The parade route is from Franklin City Hall to the St. Mary Parish Courthouse where over 1 million lights will be turned on by the City of Franklin's "Lamplighter" who will be announced on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

If you would like to enter a decorated golf cart, side by side, glow bike or walking group, please register with Tammy Rogers at (337) 828-6350 to sign up. (no vehicles allowed) NO FEE TO ENTER. Deadline to enter will be Thursday, December 5.
