Description
The Jeanerette Creole Fest Committee is hosting tours this holiday season at Albania Mansion to benefit the Jeanerette town renewal. Walk the grounds and enjoy the festive décor and learn about the history of the home, family, and the life of Albania Mansion.
Tours will be held:
- Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
- Friday, December 13, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
- Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Suggested Tour Donation $20 per person. 100% percent of your donation goes to the non profit Jeanerette Creole Fest whose mission is the renewal of Jeanerette. Be sure to check out Main Street while you are visiting to see the new holly trees and planters which are being added to the landscape to make our town more welcoming.
There will also be a Christmas part on December 15, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm for anyone who generously supports the angel gift tree for Maison Teche Nursing Home. This is a project co-sponsored by Albania Mansion, Jeanerette Creole Fest, and the Jeanerette Main Street Mercantile store. You can take an angel from the tree at Albania Mansion or from the tree at the Main Street Mercantile (1318 Main Street and open daily from 10-5).
