Downtown New Iberia is ready to celebrate our love for New Iberia, southern writers and Louisiana culture at this year's Books Along the Teche Literary Festival beginning on Friday, April 4, 2025 through Sunday, April 6, 2025. Here are just a few of the highlights to enjoy at this year's festival:
- L’Acadian Art Guild Exhibit
- Storytelling Traditions in Acadiana
- Children’s Activities and Book Fair (Entire Weekend Schedule)
- Readers’ Theater / New Iberia Blues
- Traiteurs: The Traditional Cajun French Folk Healers in the 21st Century
- Live Oak Bike Tour of New Iberia: “If These Trees Could Talk”
- Festival Trivia: Hosted by Jan Risher
- Symphony Sunday in the Park
The three day festival will offer meet and greets with authors, prized local chefs, panel discussions, contests and other family-friendly events. There are several free events for the public to enjoy as well as paid/ticketed events available for purchase.
