If it's a Friday in New Iberia during Lent, that means many folks are searching for a good seafood meal. Whether that means going to a family crawfish boil, grabbing a bite to eat at your favorite seafood restaurant, or supporting our local churches and other non-profit organizations, Friday nights around here are known as Fish Fry Fridays.
Check out this list of area churches and local groups from New Iberia to Morgan City offering a Fish Fry Friday or other seafood dinners during the Lenten season.
If you are looking to take a night off in the kitchen, be sure to support some of the local organizations in our community to get your seafood fix! We will continue to add to this list during Lent as needed.

The Catahoula Lake Volunteer Fire Department is offering fried fish dinners including homemade fries and white beans this Lent. Dinner pickup starts at 5:00 pm at Clayton Boudreaux Memorial Park. All proceeds will go toward future Catahoula community events put on by the volunteer fire department.
