1. Houma Pumpkin Patch

- π Located at Living Word Church, the Houma Pumpkin Patch is open on select weekends from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm this October, offering families the chance for plenty of fall fun. The pumpkin patch will host events like Kids Art in the Patch, a cook-off, a petting zoo, and will also have daily lunch specials for families to purchase for the full picnic experience in the patch. It's free to enter with other paid events and activities. Plus, there will be plenty of photo ops throughout the patch as well to capture those special moments with the kids.

2. Corn Maze & Fall Fest at Burden (LSU Ag Center), Baton Rouge, Louisiana

- π The LSU Ag Center Botanic Gardens offers a delightful fall backdrop for setting for families on weekends in October offer a corn maze, hayrides, sunflower fields, pumpkin patch, and farm animals. Tickets are available for morning, mid-afternoon, and late afternoon sessions giving everyone the opportunity to experience fall in Louisiana. Admission is free for kids 2 and under, with $15 tickets for children ages 3-12 and $17.50 for ages 13 and up. The Fall Fest takes place on October 25, 2025 from 6pm-9pm giving families a nighttime experience of finding a way through the corn maze too.

3. CM Farms in Dry Creek, Louisiana
- π Weekends from September 27, 2025 through November 30, 2025

- π Located in Beauregard Parish, CM Farms offers the full farm-fun package for every family that comes to visit. Kids will love the pumpkin patch and pumpkin barn, running through the 12 acre corn maze, hayrides with their siblings and friends, visiting with the farm animals, and enjoy over 50 attractions and activities on the farm. They also have other paid activities like paintball and gem stone mining for kids of all ages. The 2025 fall season at CM Farms opens on September 27, 2025 and will be open on weekends through November 30, 2025. You can choose from a General Admission pass or Super Pass during the season. Tickets are require for ages 3 and up and start at $22.95 per person. They also host private parties and field trips during the fall season as well.

4. Curry Farms in Rayville, Louisiana

- π Situated in the northern part of Louisiana near Monroe, Curry Farms is a fourth generation, family owned farm that offers fall activities for kids, a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayrides, and up close and personal experience with the cute farm animals. They also book parties and field trips for group outings. Your $15 general admission ticket gives you access to over 38 family-fun activities like the giant swing, a giant spider web for climbing adventures, a bounce pillow and a plenty more. Children ages 2 and under are free. Curry Farms is open weekly from Monday through Sunday during select hours during their fall season.

5. Mrs. Heather's Pumpkin Patch, Hammond, Louisiana

- πLocated in Hammond, Louisiana near the town of Albany, Mrs. Heather's Pumpkin Patch is celebrating 30 years this fall. Mrs. Heather's actually operates two farms, a pumpkin patch and strawberry farm, only minutes away from each other. Families enjoy tons of activities at the farm, such as carnival style games, face painting, a nature trail, a hay maze, and the kids love to play in the corn maze. The pumpkin patch opens on September 24, 2025 and offers family-fun weekend events, field trips and also host birthday parties and private events. General admission for kids, infants and up is $10 per child, cash only. Parents can enter for free with their children. Adults without kids are $10 per person. There may also be a favorite character or two on the farm for kids to meet. You never know who'll you will see at Mrs. Heather's Pumpkin Patch!

6. Sugar Roots Farm, New Orleans, Louisiana

- πLocated near the Belle Chase area on the west bank of New Orleans, Sugar Roots Farm's celebrates Pumpkin Fest on select Sundays in October. Families have the option to pick from three weekends to enjoy this local, community farm with live music, a pumpkin patch, pony rides, tractor rides for toddlers, plenty of games, and every child's ticket comes with a tiger-striped pumpkin to take home. They also offer field trips, birthday parties and farm classes for kids throughout the year. General admission tickets for kids are $15.6 per child. Adults are $20.80 ages 18 and up. Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance. Children 2 and under are free.

The kids will love the giant maze, book walk, obstacle courses, plenty of pumpkins and more. They also book field trips during the fall season for local school groups. New to Poche's this year will be the Candy Corn Village. It's $10 per person/child to enter the pumpkin patch and $5 for a pumpkin, cash only. Infants are no charge to enter.
