Hello September!
The "ber" months have officially arrived and I am all about the fall leaves, fall weather, and fall fun that happens in New Iberia this season! September also brings some other special holidays and events as well. Of course, we have Labor Day coming up this Monday and I am sure many of us are looking forward to the holiday weekend.

1. Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival 🦐
September 1st through September 5th - Morgan City
The 87th Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival kicks off today and will run through Labor Day, September 5th in Morgan City. Enjoy live music, carnival rides, arts and crafts vendors, a children's village, 5K fun run / walk and so much more!

Enjoy local theater in New Iberia as IPAL presents Rock of Ages. It's a hilarious musical featuring the best hair band songs of the 80s with live music. Rated PG13. The show will run at The Essanee Theater through Sunday, September 11th.
3. Delcambre Seafood and Farmers Market

It's time for the monthly market with over 50 vendors featuring Louisiana fresh seafood, live music, arts & crafts for the kids and more. Kids will get a free football this week to kick of the fall football season!
