We are counting down the days until Christmas! I am not even close to being done with my holiday shopping and I know it will be Christmas morning in the blink of an eye. But we are working on some new things for 2024 and I am excited to get to the new year, so come on Christmas!

To ring in 2024 we are offering a discount at only $20.24 per month for each month you purchase. There is an option for a 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month package. Our directory is the place local families and parents head to for the best deals and products in our area. You can fill out the form directly on our website and we'll reach out to finalize the details and payment. This promo is available to any business or organization that signs up before January 31, 2024.
As a mother of older children, it's hard not to look at all the Christmas events happening in our area and not get a little teary-eyed. I remember the joy of having littles in the house at Christmas and the magic of Santa Claus. We have a great read for you this week about keeping that magic alive with your children.

1. Christmas in the Park - St. Martin Parish Junior Leaders Fundraiser

Join the St. Martin Parish 4H Junior Leaders for some holiday fun at Christmas in the Park this December with a showing of The Polar Express. Be sure to bring your blankets and lawn chairs, wear your best Christmas pjs, and get comfortable. Concessions will be sold during the event. Proceeds are to benefit the Junior Leaders Program for St. Martin Parish 4H club.
2. Morgan City Christmas Parade

It's Christmas in Morgan City! Join in for the holiday cheer at the Morgan City Christmas Parade. The parade will roll down 2nd Street and end at Lawrence Park. After the parade, join in for more holiday fun at Lawrence Park to see Shrek the Halls and enjoy a holiday movie with the family. Popcorn and food trucks will be on site for this event.
3. Pictures with Santa - Presented by Acadiana Spay Neuter - New Iberia

Bring your both your kids and your fur-babies for their holiday photos with Santa at Bouligny Plaza on Main Street this December. All proceeds from this event will be used for spay/neuter for animals in need in the community. $10.00 suggested donation for your digital photo.
4. Winter Wonder Fest - Main Branch - Iberia Parish Library

Join the Iberia Parish Library for their the First Annual Winter Wonder Fest this December. This new annual event will have fun winter-themed games, crafts, and treats for the kids. There will also be a special holiday performance from the NISH concert band at 5:00 pm. Games will be from 4:30 PM-5:00 PM. Make sure to bring your chairs and blankets!
5. The 37th Annual Catahoula Christmas Parade - St. Martinville

2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Join the Catahoula Lake Fire Department as they host the 37th Annual Catahoula Christmas Parade at 2:00 pm at Clayton Boudreaux Memorial Park in St. Martinville. Following the parade, enjoy pictures with Santa and other characters in the park. Goodies like hotdogs, nachos, and drinks will be served while supplies last. If you would like to be in the parade line up starts at 1:00pm in the park and its free to enter. The parade route will take the same route as last year starting and ending in the park.
