We are ready to welcome the month of May!
There are so many celebrations that happen this month from Mother's Day to Memorial Day, not to mention graduations and proms. But there are a few other celebrations to bring awareness to as well. Read about the events and causes you can recognize with your family this month.
I announced another giveaway this month from Macaroni KID New Iberia last week. If you haven't entered yet, be sure to get on the list! To celebrate our giveaway this month, I came up with a craft that is not only fun but educational too. We had a dino-mite time with Alex Worstell this week making these cute dinosaurs from items around the house. Find out what you need to make these at home with the kids.
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week and we have 10 Ways to Show Your Appreciation to Your Child's Teachers. Get some ideas on how to say thank you to our teachers!
Finally, this weekend is Cinco de Mayo and many of us enjoy getting out at the events in our community to celebrate. But you can also celebrate at home with Homemade Chips, Guacamole, and Pico de Gallo. You can try these recipes for your next party or gathering too!
