We're counting down the days until fall as we said Hello September with the Labor Day holiday this week. But what other holidays, causes, and events can we recognize with our families this month? This Sunday is Grandparent's Day and we have two great resources for you to get some inspiration to celebrate. We've got a few fun craft ideas and a super cute printable for families to let grandma and grandpa just how much they mean. We hope you like them!
Health and wellness are things that I truly love to help promote to our Macaroni KID families whether it be events, organizations, or other parenting resources in the communities we serve from New Iberia to Morgan City. This week we partnered with a new sponsor, Community Wellness, who is making plans to bridge the wellness gap in Vermilion Parish. Find out about this new organization and their volleyball fundraiser happening this weekend in Erath. The day will be filled with plenty of family fun for local families to enjoy.
If you are looking for an easy day trip that includes free parking and admission, then I have a great recommendation for you this weekend. The Craftin Cajuns Indoor Craft Show is happening this weekend at the Barry P. Bonvillain Civic Center in Houma. Make it a family day or make plans for a day with your best girlfriends for some shopping.

Join the New Iberia community as they celebrate the founding of the city during Hispanic Heritage Month. The Remembering Francisco Bouligny event will kick off with brunch at the Pie Bar and include a walking parade, presentations, and re-enactment of the arrival of the Spanish families in New Iberia.
3. Delcambre Seafood and Farmer's Market - Bayou Carlin Cove - Delcambre
