It's finally here! The fall season is upon us and Macaroni KID New Iberia is ready for anything that goes bump in the night, all the yummy soup recipes we can get our hands on, and making plans for a night of roasting smores with the kids in the backyard. However, if you like all the festivals and family-friendly events that fall brings from New Iberia to Morgan City, I am happy to report that we have PLENTY of events in our area to keep local families entertained.
From trunk or treats to fall festivals and haunted attractions, we have the list that you need to plan your fall family fun all in one place! While we try to stay as current as we can, there are new events literally being added each day, so be sure to come back and check out this community guide often.

Frightmare on Main Street Haunted Attraction, New Iberia
Weekends during the month of October
Looking for a good scare this Halloween? Then head to the Frightmare on Main Street Haunted Attraction in New Iberia. This terrifying outdoor trail is located on the grounds of the Historic Hot Sauce House on Main Street New Iberia. This secluded home's location provides the perfect creepy backdrop for the trail, which will take you through several sets and attractions with live scare actors.
Halloween in the Cane Field Light Show - Jeanerette
Weekends during the month of October
The Halloween Light Show will be running on weekends during the month of October from Friday to Sunday. Tune into 100.5 FM as you drive by and enjoy the Halloween show from the comfort of your car. The display will also run on Halloween night.
Loreauville Community Project Pumpkin Patch - Loreauville Park Building

Make plans to bring the kids to Loreauville and visit the Pumpkin Patch this October. Enjoy festival games, photo booth opportunities, candy and treats, pumpkins and more! The event will be held at the Loreauville Park Building for three days offering plenty of opportunities to enjoy free, family fun this Halloween season.
Trunk or Treat for the Lydia Cancer Association - Weeks Park - New Iberia
