Yep. We are already moving into July, and this summer is completely flying by! Events are happening from New Iberia to Morgan City to celebrate this Independence Day weekend, so be sure to check our event calendar to get in on the 4th of July fun happening this week.

Celebrate this 4th of July with a weekend filled with fun in downtown Erath! The 87th Annual Erath 4th of July Celebration is happening this weekend. Enjoy carnival rides, live music, a 5k fun run, a parade and more. The festival starts Friday, June 30 and runs through Tuesday, July 4th.
2. 6th Annual Cajun Fest - Bouligny Plaza

The St. Mary Parish Sherriff's Office is excited to bring these family movie nights to St. Mary Parish this July with a free screening of League of Super Pets. This first event will happen at the Amelia Recreation Center. There will be official police vehicles, a boat, and you the kids can meet one of our Super Pets! There will also be snacks (hot dogs, chips, popcorn, and cold drinks) so you can get set for the movie. Kids will also receive a special gift bag at the end of night.
