The Healthy St. Mary Coalition invites the community to this event. Meet up at the Baldwin Town Hall, ready with your walking shoes and a bottle of water. The event is being held to locate great places for local youth to walk, find any issues in walking paths, and identifying important walking routes for local residents to use.
2. Farmers Parade - Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival - Downtown New Iberia

Kick-off the weekend of the 2023 Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival at the Farmers Parade in downtown New Iberia as tractors of every kind roll down Main Street showcasing the festival queens.
The Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival will be held all weekend in downtown New Iberia with plenty of events planned over the 3-day weekend to keep you and your family entertained! Participate in and enjoy events like the 5K run, Blessing of the Crops, a Coronation Ball, a Fais Do Do, a Street Fair, parades and much more. Times and ticket prices for events will vary.
